Personal Assistant looking for a non-agency role in Paignton, Devon?
We are looking for people to join a small team helping our young-adult son in his home, but also out and about doing things he loves.
Ben has Down’s syndrome and a profound learning disability. He is good natured and enjoys his life very much. He is non-verbal and depends on others for all aspects of his well-being.
We have a variety of day/evening/night shifts available, preferably on a self-employed basis (we can help you with this) but we will consider other arrangements. Your core hours would be the same every week throughout the year as routine is very important to Ben. There would also be opportunities for extra cover and bank working. We offer good rates of pay and hours to suit by mutual agreement.
The role includes all aspects of personal care, maintaining a safe and clean home, and keeping Ben happy and healthy.
We welcome applications from people with all levels of experience who are willing to learn and have a desire to progress in the caring profession.
You must be fit and energetic, calm and smiley, patient and flexible, reliable and a good timekeeper. A full driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage.
Successful applicants will require references and a DBS check.
